Borders by Joseph Begay

Bishop Steven Charleston “We each find our own way to the borders of the sacred.”

I don’t know why this so appeals to me. Sometimes in the middle of the night when I am warm inside I just go out to look around me. I imagine that God is just beyond the dark heading my way. It seems silly but I feel comforted by thinking that God is near.

Sometimes I list the things that I want to accomplish but what comes to me deep inside is that finding the awesome everyday is all I really need. Everything else falls into place when I find my own way to the borders of the sacred.
